Vernaccia di San Gimignano “Riserva” DOCG produced from organic farming in the hills of San Gimignano, with a pale yellow color and by the consistent and elegant flavor, with complex aroma with hints of fruit.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano “Riserva” DOCG produced from organic farming the scenic hills of the City of San Gimignano with grapes Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Straw-yellow color, the palate presents a balanced flavor, warm and soft, with ripe fruit aroma. Among the ideal combinations of fish, shellfish, baked fish, white meat seasoned, delicate red meats and aged cheeses.

Soil Pliocene origin, medium texture, widespread clayey soil.
Cultivation Spur-pruned vines – with 6-8 buds, density of 5,000 vines per hectare, yield no superior to 50 (quintal) grapes per hectare, green pruning, selection of grapes.

Ageing and Refining At the end of the alcoholic fermentation period the wine remains in contact with its fine lees in French barriques for 12months. After bottling, the wine it is refined in bottles for 12 months. Perfect for bottle aging.
Colour Full straw yellow.
Perfume Floral with ripe fruit sensations, apple and dried fruit, sweet almonds with a touch of vanilla.
Flovour Good and balanced structure, smooth, warm, persistent, harmonic with a pleasurable sweet toasted almond aftertaste.
